Wilbur SMITH: THE LAW OF THE DESERT

THE LAW OF THE DESERT-Wilbur Smith: Hazel Bannock, refined and beautiful widow of an American billionaire, holds firmly the reins of the empire that her husband has left. To ensure the safety of its most important oil facility, subject to frequent terrorist attacks, employs a platoon of mercenaries led by Hector Cross, a former SAS known for its expeditious methods, sometimes extreme. Although born a strong attraction since their first meeting between the two does not run bad blood: Hazel does not like the aggressive character of Hector and his brusque and rude. A tragic event, however, is to unite them: the only daughter of Hazel, the twenty Cayla, is kidnapped by a group of Islamic terrorists, established in one of the most wild and arid Africa, a land where the desert runs flush with the sea and in which even the most stubborn human beings are put to the test. Despite all its strengths Hazel Hector knows that only the Cross can groped virtually impossible to tear Cayla from the hands of terrorists. But a more insidious fate of the wind blowing through the dunes to force them to expose themselves in person, and to use all his courage and his strength ...
